Happy New Year, and welcome to all of our new subscribers who signed up during December or were gifted monthly subscriptions for Christmas (great gift choice in my opinion!). We look forward to sending you amazing, Irish roasted coffee over the coming months.

Our featured roaster this month is Full Circle Roasters, from Dublin, who have roasted a gorgeous Guatemalan coffee. In this coffee you should find tasting notes of peach, marzipan and white grape.

Full Circle Roasters have been around for a long time in the specialty coffee scene in Ireland. Founded in 2014 by Brian Birdy and David Smyth, FCR have established themselves as one of the best roasters in the capital and their coffee can be found all over the city in places like Shoe Lane, Ebb & Flow, and of course in the roastery which occasionally opens up on Saturday mornings just off the South Circular Road.

Head roaster Natalia Grabowska started out with FCR a few years ago and has quickly become one of the top roasters around. If you’re ever around FCR on a Saturday pop in and say hello to Nat. She’s also one of the nicest people in coffee we’ve ever met!

Over the last year both Brian and Dave have taken their coffee knowledge and skills out of the county with Brian opening Awesome Coffee Beans in Carrickmacross, Monaghan, and Dave opening Milligram in our favourite county, Sligo. It’s fantastic to see their hard work pay off with the success of both these new coffee shops in the turbulent year we’ve had.

As we begin 2021 with one of the most established roasters in the country we think this sets us up with a really high benchmark for the year. We’ve got roasters lined up for the next few months from all over the country and will continue to deliver you quality, Irish roasted coffee each month.

Don’t forget to check us out on socials for updates and new roaster news. You can find us on Instagram @beandelivered and you can find Full Circle Roasters there too @FCRoaster.

Looking forward to delivering you the best in Irish roasted coffee each month.

Cheers,

James
